Last week, we learned that The American Business Awards® honored us with not one, but two Stevie® Awards for:
The Stevie Award recognizes excellence in the development of business thought leadership. We’re humbled, proud, and honored to have received these awards.
The fact is, this honor should be shared with you, our readers. This recognition doesn’t happen unless our community reads our posts, shares them with others, and actually puts them into practice.
Every Scotwork story and blog post is based on the important work we do with our clients every day. We don’t just work with theories or abstractions; we deal head-on with real business and negotiation issues. We constantly put our practical approach to the test in the real world, and our blog posts reflect valuable lessons that can help improve anyone’s negotiations.
Our team of negotiation experts is unique in this way. When we’re in a classroom teaching negotiation skills, we’re literally teaching the same skills we use when helping our clients get more valuable deals. Likewise, when one of our experts consults on a specific negotiation, they use the proven techniques that we teach to hundreds of thousands of negotiators worldwide.
While we’re extremely grateful to The American Business Awards, their recognition only serves to underscore the transformation we help our clients achieve at the negotiating table.
In order to make an even greater impact for you, I’d like to know one thing: What would you like us to write about? Please share a negotiation situation you’d like us to comment on, or an obstacle you’re trying to overcome, or even a success/failure story that others can learn from.
Who knows — you might be part of our next blog post. (Did I mention it’s now an award-winning blog post?)
Happy Negotiating,
Brian Buck
